Our Mission and History
Italian Opera in Siena is a music festival founded in 2013 by the ACLI LiberArte Cultural Association.
The Association’s mission is to bring Italian culture to a wide international audience. The task is accomplished with the experience and enthusiasm of the founding members and through collaboration with other Italian artistic organisations.
The Italian Opera in Siena festival aims to lead its audience into discovering Italian bel canto through a rich programme of concerts in Siena and throughout Italy: its concerts offer performances from artists who tread the stages of the world’s greatest Opera Houses such as La Scala Milan, the Arena di Verona, the Royal Opera House London etc.
Thanks to its highly-skilled professionals, numerous concerts (over eight hundred from 2013 to 2022), festival and private events have been organised under the Italian Opera in Siena brand, with a consistently high level offering and with great attention to its public.

Italian Opera in Siena has a specialized team for the production of private musical performances and events of all kinds and is very experienced in the selection of top artists in the field of classical music and Opera.

The Artistic Management and Marketing Department will work in partnership with you to design your programme for the evening at your chosen location (anywhere in Italy), or at the Auditorium S. Stefano alla Lizza, headquarters of Italian Opera in Siena.
