The Santo Stefano alla Lizza Auditorium
The Italian Opera in Siena experience takes place in a historic building in the very heart of Siena, the Auditorio Santo Stefano alla Lizza.
Originally built as the church of Santo Stefano in the 12th century, after falling out of use as a church the building was completely renovated in 2009 and transformed into a marvelous concert venue.
Today it is a very special corner of Siena where you’ll be spellbound by the amazing voices of Opera singers.

We all had an incredible night at the Opera. We were nervous about bringing our children ages 11, 9 and 4, but it turned out perfectly.
